Alison Chatfield Peyre passed away at home on July 16, 2021 after a long illness.

She leaves behind 2 sons, Richard Perrigo and David Perrigo/ fiancée Kate Stevens, x daughter-in-law Torrie Perrigo, a daughter Rebecca Pabon/husband Richard and a stepdaught­er Barbara Roberts/husband Chaz. She had six grandchild­ren, Cody, Allyssa/ fiancé Eric Bouteiller, Katie, David Jr., Celeste and Griffin and one great-grandchild, two aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her brother Harry Chatfield/wife Kathy and two sisters Marguerite Skaret and Susan Gonzalez/husband Michael. She was predecease­d by her parents Harry/Harriett Chatfield and 2 sisters, Mary Bisphlingh­off and Linda Bristol.

Alison was born in Winsted, CT and grew up in East Hartland. After attending

The Gilbert School, she got married, moved to NY, and had three children. Her career path led to work as a paralegal She later moved back to CT. She worked for The Torrington Company, Moore & Alvord as an insurance agent and then became a personal care assistant.

She enjoyed tackling home repairs and projects, played piano and enjoyed horseback riding. She had a real love for animals.

Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. She really enjoyed spoiling her kids and grandkids and making a Christmas eve feast. She will be remembered for her dry sense of humor and will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 14th at 10:30 a.m. at Barkhamste­d Center Cemetery on Center Hill Rd. in Barkhamste­d. All are welcome.
