Warner Theatre reschedule­s, announces more shows

The Warner Theatre announced that it has postponed the Talking Heads tribute show “Start Making Sense,” which was scheduled for Sept. 10. A new date is to be determined and tickethold­ers will be notified by the box office.

Nate Bargatze, The Raincheck Tour, 7 p.m., Sept. 18.

“Bargatze's comedy is both clean and relatable, evident in his ten appearance­s on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon following four appearance­s on late night with Conan O’Brien. In March 2019, Nate’s first solo one-hour Netflix special, The Tennessee Kid, premiered globally with rave reviews,” according to a statement. In July 2020, the comedian teamed up with All Things Comedy to release his new podcast, Nateland. The world is a crazy place and there's plenty of podcasts out there tackling the tough issues. However, Nateland tackles the meaningles­s issues that we face day to day to give listeners a much-needed mental break from fighting the good fight. New episodes release Wednesdays, with video available on Nate’s YouTube channel and audio available everywhere you get podcasts.

Almost Queen, A Tribute to Queen, 8 p.m., Oct. 2.

Known as the most authentic Queen live show since the days of Queen themselves, the band delivers a live performanc­e

showcasing signature fourpart harmonies and intricate musical interludes. Donning genuine costumes, it recaptures the live energy and precision that is the ultimate Queen experience, according to a statement.

Richard Marx, 7 p.m., Oct. 17

Richard Marx has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, starting with his self-titled debut which went to No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

The album spawned four Top 5 singles, including “Hold on to the Nights” and “Don’t Mean Nothing,” which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal Performanc­e. His follow-up, 1989’s Repeat Offender, was even more successful, hitting No. 1 and going quadruplep­latinum with two No. 1 singles, “Satisfied” and “Right Here Waiting.” He has since made history as the only male artist whose first seven singles reached the Top 5 on the Billboard charts and has also written on a No. 1 single in each of the last four decades.

Melissa Etheridge, 8 p.m. Nov. 2

Etheridge, a Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer/songwriter and activist, stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed selftitled debut album. Known for her confession­al lyrics and raspy, smoky vocals, Etheridge has remained one of America’s favorite female singer-songwriter­s for more than two decades. In June 2020, Melissa launched Etheridge TV, where she goes live for fans five days a week. That same month, she launched The Etheridge Foundation, where she hopes to raise money to support healthy new research into the causes and effects of opioid addiction.
