NEW HARTFORD – Norma Jean Provenzano, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late James Provenzano, Jr., for 54 years. Born November 14, 1939 in North Braddock, PA, the daughter of the late John and Susie (Cincarick) Golmic.

Norma was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother to her cherished three daughters. She raised her family on West Hill Lake in New Hartford. She was an excellent cook, loved baking and was a shopper extraordin­aire. She worked for many years at Ann Antolini School and the Beardsley Memorial Library in Winsted. She was a communican­t of Immaculate Conception Church. Norma also loved travelling and spending time with her grandchild­ren who fondly called her “Gma.” Her daughters feel blessed to have had such a role model demonstrat­ing a life full of faith, family and friends! She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Marie Carnegie and husband Paul of NV, Tisha Dodge and husband Dave of MA and Pam Adams of VA; grandchild­ren, Paul Carnegie, Jr., James Carnegie, Amanda Hubbard, Chris Adams, Tori Adams, Derek Dodge and Jessica Dodge; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her husband, she was predecease­d by a son-in-law, Dr. Mike Adams; and siblings, Ann Bohin, Margaret “Peg” Macara and Andrew “Lutz” Golmic.

Friends may call on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford from 4 - 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church of Our Lady of Hope Parish, New Hartford at 11 AM. Graveside services will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA, at a time to be announced.
