Linda Beatrice (Case) Olson, 73, of Goshen, CT, passed away peacefully at home on January 31, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on July 29, 1949 to the late Ray Sargeant Case and Beatrice Southey Case. She was the youngest of five children, predecease­d by Ray Case and David Case, and survived by Nancy Case Brenner and Douglas Case. She grew up in New Hartford and Winsted, CT where she graduated from Gilbert High School. She attended Northweste­rn Connecticu­t Community College where she met the love of her life and husband of 53 years, Thomas Lee Olson.

Linda is survived by her husband Tom who was loyally devoted to her until the very end. Together they had four children and welcomed two daughter-in-laws to the family. Linda is predecease­d by their first child, Thomas Trace Olson, and survived by Thomas and Kathleen Olson, Scott and Marcella Olson and Kimberlee Olson. She is also survived by six grandchild­ren who were her pride and joy- Olivia, Riley, Anna, Isaiah, Grace and Amari.

Linda was a loving, selfless wife, sister, mother, and Nana who devoted her life to her family’s happiness. She was the kindest and most giving person touching the lives of everyone she met, both personally and while working for many years at Connecticu­t Junior Republic. She loved camping, fishing and canoeing especially in Maine and Vermont. She was a passionate gardener of flowers and vegetables, an activity she enjoyed with her husband. She was a spiritual woman who knew the Lord, living out her faith and touching others in her quiet, caring manner. She cherished her role as Nana and kept her calendar busy with dance recitals, band concerts, sports games, birthday parties, and school events. She was an amazing cook who loved to host joyful gatherings with family and friends. She was the heart of her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ Congregati­onal, 5 Old Middle Street, Goshen, CT on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2:00pm followed by a funeral at the Goshen Center Cemetery.
