Eugene parking, car camping; Springfiel­d garbage rates

This week, Eugene city councilors are scheduled to vote on vacating Premier Street and adjacent streets so the business owners can fence off the industrial area and revisit amendments to the city's parking rules primarily meant to crack down on vehicle camping.

Springfiel­d city councilors are scheduled to discuss a proposed property tax exemption similar to Eugene's Multi-Unit Property Tax Exemption and vote on beginning to vacate Ivy Street to facilitate a subdivisio­n.

Lane County commission­ers are scheduled to vote on their interperso­nal working agreement, hold a hearing for three proposed homes in forestzone­d land near the Oakridge Airport and discuss safety at county commission­er meetings after they unexpected­ly moved the April 2 meeting online.
