STATE COLLEGE — The Pennridge girls indoor track and field team took fourth place at the state championships on Saturday. Taylor Chapman led the way for the Rams with a 2nd-place showing in the 200-meter run and a fourthplace finish in the 0. Also for Pennridge, Ariana Przyblowski was third in the long jump with a mark of 17-11.
Other highlights were CB West’s Jamila Branch taking fifth in the 400, while teammate Maddie Villalba was 2nd in the 800, clocking in at 2:14.48. LC was well-represented with freshman Kayla Connelly turning it on for a 16th-place finish in the 3,000.
The boys were led by a third-place finish from Pennridge’s Joseph Logue in the 800-meter run. North Penn’s Jordan Green was 9th in the 200, while teammate Ryan Grace was 8th in the mile. North Penn’s Gift-Omo Ekpani took 13th in the triple jump. Wissahickon’s Dave Stellato took fourth overall in the 400.
