Ultra-Orthodox Jews protest Israel’s proposal to force them to serve in the military. Hundreds of thousands of people participated in Sunday’s demonstration in Jerusalem over Israel ending its exemption of ultra-Orthodox adherents from military service and cuts to yeshivas, or Jewish seminaries.
