Luke Homan, Jake Diamond and Nick Keim each scored two goals as the North Penn boys lacrosse team edged Central Bucks East 10-9 in three overtimes for a Suburban One League Continenta­l Conference victory Thursday.

Matt Rinck made 18 saves for the Knights. Homan also handed out two assists while Reece Udinski had a goal and three assists.

METHACTON 17, POPE JOHN PAUL II 9 >> The Methacton boys lacrosse team upended PJP II in a PAC-10 matchup on Thursday. Nine different goal scorers found the net for Methacton and goalie Harvey Smith allowed only one goal and turned away five in his first-half performanc­e. Aidan Denecke led the Warriors with eight points on four goals and four assists and Ryan O’Toole notched a goal of his own plus four helpers on the day. Connor Stevenson added three goals and one assist while sophomore Kyle Kacala netted two of his own while assisting on two others. With the win, Methacton improves to 4-5 overall (3-4 PAC-10) and the Warriors look to continue their winning ways as they travel to Pottsgrove on Monday night for another PAC-10 match-up.

METHACTON 18, POTTSTOWN 6>> Daria Lucchesi scored five goals in a big offensive day for Methacton in an victory over Pottstown Thursday in a Pioneer Athletic Conference battle.

Sara Hughes and Frankie Lucchesi each added three goals for Methacton (5-5, 4-4 PAC 10). Methacton 18, Pottstown 6 WISSAHICKO­N 9, UPPER DUBLIN6>> The Trojans built a three-goal lead by the half and stayed in control on Thursday.

Wiss had five different players score in a balanced attack.

SOUDERTON 13, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 10 >> Krista Schneider scored four times, and Leah Goodwin and Carlie Doughty each had a hat trick to lead Big Red past the Patriots in an SOL National matchup Thursday.

Souderton held off a late CB East rally to improve to 5-4 overall and a perfect 5-0 in the SOL National. Souderton 13, CB East 10

PENNRIDGE 4, QUAKERTOWN 3 (8) >> Pennridge tied the game 3-3 with a run in the bottom of the seventh inning then plated another in the eighth Thursday to earn its second straight SOL Continenta­l victory.

Joe Robinson collected a pair of hits and three RBIs for the Rams (7-4, 5-2 conference). METHACTON 8, PHOENIXVIL­LE 0 >> Ryan Pellicano scored twice and Ben Christian threw four shutout innings to lead the Warriors to a Pioneer Athletic Conference win over the Phantoms on Thursday.

Methacton jumped out quick, taking a 4-0 lead in the second.

Softball

SPRINGFIEL­D 2, UPPER DUBLIN 0 >> Jen Hammons hurled a one-hiter with 17 strikeouts on Thursday for the Spartans. Megan Muth had the lone hit for the Cardinals.

OLEY VALLEY 13, DOCK 5 >> Christophe­r Dock led 5-2 after four innings, but Oley Valley scored 11 runs on 13 hits in the fith and sixth to win Thursday’s non-league game.

Boys Volleyball

PENNRIDGE 3, CB SOUTH 1 >> Jesse Smith collected 27 assists and six aces while Cross Edwards finished with 14 kills, eight digs and three blocks as Pennridge picked up a four-game SOL Continenta­l victory Thursday.

Corey Quaste added 14 assists for the Rams (92, 9-1 conference). Jeremy Pruss chipped in 13 digs and a pair of aces.

Boys Tennis

LOWER MORELAND 7, DOCK 0 >> Dock was swept in singles by a strong Lower Moreland team on Friday. The Lions’ Matt Titus was dominant at No. 1 singles in a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
