Joyce Lois Mood of Telford

Joyce Lois Mood, of the Lutheran Community at Telford, Telford, PA, and formerly of Souderton, PA, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township, PA. She was 87.

Born in Plumstead Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late H. Russell and Irene G. (Godshall) Mood.

Following her graduation from Hilltown High School, Hilltown, PA, in 1947, she worked in the local clothing industry until retiring in 1980.

Miss Mood was a lifelong member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Telford, PA.

She was especially fond of playing card games and Bingo with her friends while residing at the Community.

She is survived by a sister, Emma Jacqueline Hedrick, and her husband Dr. G. Winfield, of Harleysville, PA; four stepnieces, Donna Brown, Constance Deibler, Cheryl Taketa and Jennifer DeLong; and several cousins.

Her Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at the Lutheran Community at Telford Chapel, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA, where family and friends may call from 1:30 to 2 p.m.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Trinity Cemetery of Telford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Community at Telford, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA 18969.
