Swim team sends 41 to Eastern Districts
The North Penn YMCA’s Gators Swim Team announced that on the heels of another successful season this year, 41 swimmers qualified and competed at the YMCA PA East Districts at Gloucester Institute of Technology in Sewell, N.J.
The growth of the team over this past season has been exciting to watch. The team has enjoyed swimming in the new six-lane multipurpose pool at North Penn YMCA and has been able to host swim meets with viewing available via the new North Penn Commons lobby. The installation of the scoreboard, touchpads and timing system has been an incredible addition to the team and pool area.
Competing swimmers in the 10-and-under age group are Somay Bansal, Jack Czajkowski, Mason DiMauro, Chase Folweiler, Natalie Gordon, Salwa Henaidy, Bella Juarez, Lauren Murphy, Dakota Oliver, Gianna Pellegrino, Sarah Poach, Benjamin Rawa, Achillies Shui, Ethan Spencer, Evan Spencer, Macek Vandermolen, Adam Wauls and Suah Yum. 11-12 age group are Daniel Balsells, Vivienne Chebeleu, Mackenzie Czajkowski, Chase DiMauro, Christian Fischer, Katelyn Folweiler, Jackson Hatstat Taylor Hutcheon, Pat Puenpatom, Nathan Rawa, Zoe Silva, Lily Strickland and Nathan Wauls. 13-14 age group are Katya Gonzales, Kirsten Mayland, Sally Meyers, Jessica Mitchell and Leanne Sheely. Opens are Courtney Fries, Sarah Marshall, Nick Picozzi, Diza Ranile and Sammie Razzi.
