North Penn YMCA Gators qualify 41 for PA East Districts
The North Penn YMCA’s Gators Swim Team qualified 41 swimmers for the YMCA PA East Districts at Gloucester Institute of Technology (GCIT) in Sewell, New Jersey March 11-12.
The team has enjoyed swimming in the new six-lane multipurpose pool at North Penn YMCA and has been able to host swim meets with viewing available via the new North Penn Commons lobby. The installation of the scoreboard, touchpads and timing system has been an incredible addition to the team and pool area.

The North Penn YMCA Gators Swim Team gives children of all athletic abilities the opportunity to build self-esteem and healthy bodies with wholesome fun of a rewarding team sport. The team competes in the Penn-Del Swim league, an association of the YMCA teams in Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. The Gators Swim Team is open to children ages 5-19 and practices at the Lansdale Area Family YMCA.
