Julie King Gorniak: The big plows came through our neighborhood at such a crazy speed! The snow had stopped and kids were out playing. It was scary. At 7:30pm, a pick up truck plow came through and was “plowing”. I use quotes because there was nothing left to plow. He was moving snow around that had already been shoveled off the sidewalks. He plowed the snow back on to already cleared driveways and sidewalks. It was dark and everyone had already dug out and had gone inside for the night. I heard the truck outside. All I did was open my front door. The driver of the plow reversed and started yelling at me. I stepped outside to see that my driveway bib and sidewalk were covered in snow AGAIN. There was an argument between the driver and myself. I tried explaining to the driver that it’s dark and everyone was out all day shoveling, and then he came along and undid what everyone worked on all day....

Bob Gillmer: I took notice of the unusually large number of mailboxes damaged during the storm. I thought it odd seeing 5-6 on my street alone. I was thinking the driver must have had a bad turn, I hadn’t realized this was township wide. I thought it was a lot of damage for a storm that generated only five to eight inches of snow.. 3 Neil Mark: I know the twp I work for we had a lot of damaged mailboxes reported. But mostly due to the weight of the snow. We do have a policy to replace reported mailboxes or repair damaged ones..

Loraine Quinn Ciccarone: I live on Sumneytown Pike in Upper Gwynedd and I have had six mailboxes in 13 years, thanks to the snow plows..

Ronald Pawlak: I was outside when the plow went down the street. He drove fast enough for the snow to clear the grass and the sidewalk. If he slowed down the force would not have been as bad.

Maria Claudia Gonzalez: And still no answer regarding the damage to our mailbox despite several phone calls!! 7 Annette Barclay: Same exact experience on Ridgewood Way!
