TOASTING SAL ROTONDO

Wed., April 5: Friends and students are invited to celebrate the life and contributi­ons of Sal Rotondo, for his career as a teacher, coach and administra­tor. The informal event will be held at Pepper’s Italian Restaurant in King of Prussia, beginning at 6 p.m. Food and beverages will be available to purchase. No tickets are needed. Just show up and toast a revered coach and friend to the community.

PALM SALE

Fri., April 7 and Sat., April 8: St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Marshall and Buttonwood streets, Norristown, will be holding its annual Palm/Spring Sale on Friday, April 7th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 8th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

SOUNDS OF “JERSEY BOYS”

Mon., April 10: “Oh, What a Night” it will be at the Valley Forge VFW Post 7878 on Monday, April 10th from 6 to 9 PM, featuring the Sounds of “Jersey Boys”! A fun night of food, dancing and entertainm­ent, featuring Rob Carroll of the “Grease Band” and Ben Franklin impersonat­or fame. Songs from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will bring back fond memories of that great era. Rumor has it that “Sherry” and “Dawn” will appear. So “Let’s Hang On” and hang out with us to hear some great entertainm­ent. A savory meal will be served at 6 PM. A cash only bar with beer and drinks is available. JOB FAIR

Tues., April 11: Greater Norristown PAL will hold its Semi-Annual Job Fair that benefits the Greater Norristown Community residents. The Job Fair will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 340 Harding Boulevard. We are seeking employers and businesses that are currently looking to fill positions with local community members. Our goal is to connect community members and local businesses.

EASTER STORY TIME AND EGG HUNT

Thurs., April 13: Enjoy holiday stories, songs and activities, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt in the picture book area. For ages 2-5. Event begins at 10:30 a.m. At the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library, 1001 Powell St., Norristown.

DAVE FRIDAY MEMORIAL NIGHT

Sat., April 15: The annual event, with all proceeds going the scholarshi­p fund in honor of the Bishop Kenrick High School graduate, will be held at Screwballs Sports Bar and Grill, 216 W Beidler Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 with an open bar from 7 p.m. to 10. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. Just wear the green and gold of Kenrick.

KID’S MOVIE CLUB

Sat., April 15: The Centre Theater will launch the new Kid’s Movie Club on the first floor in a newly renovated space that holds 40 movie goers. On the third Saturday of every month beginning at 10:30 a.m. children of all ages are invited to the theater to see a special selection free of charge.
