A day after the opening action of the Pioneer Athletic Conference boys tennis playoffs was shuffled around due to rainy conditions, the weather struck again Saturday.

A day after the opening action of the Pioneer Athletic Conference boys tennis playoffs was shuffled around due to rainy conditions, the weather struck again Saturday.

The PAC semifinals and championsh­ip rounds will now be played on Monday morning at 7 at Kinetix in Norristown, reschedule­d from Saturday’s 9 a.m. start at Perkiomen Valley High School.

The morning’s play will feature Phoenixvil­le teammates Mike Ellis and Graham Light squaring off in one semifinal while topseeded Holden Smith, of Owen J. Roberts, takes on Norristown’s Franco Waweru for a spot in the championsh­ip.

SOUDERTON FOURTH AT ALLENTOWN >> Big Red placed fourth out of 22 teams at the Allentown School District Invite Friday, led by a pair of first-place finishes.

Connor McMenamin ran a 9:23.73 in the 3,200 to qualify for districts and set a school record, breaking Joe Dare’s record of 9:26 set in 2003. Stephen Scott won the gold in the 300 hurdles, crossing in 38.83.

Scott also placed second in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.08. Jack Maurer was third in the pole vault, clearing 12 feet.

Souderton is at North Penn Tuesday.

Baseball

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, ABINGTON 0 >> The HatboroHor­sham Hatters defeated the Abington Ghosts by a score of 3-0 on Saturday morning. The Hatters were led by junior Alex Crim’s complete game effort. Crim pitched seven innings, striking out five, while allowing no runs on five hits and two walks. The Hatters offense was led by senior catcher Shaun Thomas. Thomas was 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs. The Hatters also got base hits from Ryan O’Donnell, Drew Passerini, Brian Edgington, and Eric Jester. The Hatters (6-4 overall, 4-2 SOL Continenta­l) will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Cheltenham.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, UPPER DUBLIN 1 >> Colin Kennedy struck out 11 in a complete-game effort while Hatboro-Horsham scored all three of its runs in the bottom of the second inning Friday.

Eddie Schultz and Eric Jester collected RBIs for the Hatters (5-4, 4-2 SOL American).

PERKIOMEN VALLEY 13, WISSAHICKO­N 3 >> The Vikings were in control from start to finish during a non-conference win over the Trojans.

Brian Fehr (three assists) and Shawn Coulter (one assist) each netted hat tricks as PV jumped out to an 8-1 lead by the half and extended it to 12-1 after three periods. Matt Dudley and David Neilsen each had a pair of goals while Nick Steele had a goal and an assist. Matt Brock was 15-for17 on faceoffs while Kevin Mo finished with eight saves.

ARCHBISHOP WOOD DEVON PREP 14 >> Tim Brandenber­g had six goals and two assists while Rhys Vaughn finished with four goals and five assists as Archbishop Wood top Devon Prep for a nonleague victory Friday.

Greg McFadden added two goals and four assists for the Vikings. Archbishop Wood 16, Devon Prep 14
