Annamary (Burket) Stackhouse, 86, passed away quietly on April 20, 2017, at Masonic Village, Elizabetht­own, where she was a resident. She was formerly of North Wales, PA.

She was born Nov. 1, 1920, to Elmer Lee Burket and Ora (Detter) Burket of Roaring Springs, PA.

Ann received her Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education degree at Penn State University and taught at the Wissahicko­n School District and North Penn School District for many years.

She is survived by her beloved husband, William P. Stackhouse Jr., with whom she was married for 63 years. She was a loving mother to daughters Deborah A. Daniels (Mark), Linda S. Landis (Steven) and preceded in death by her son William Lee Stackhouse. Ann enjoyed seven grandchild­ren, Emily M. Loesch, Melissa Kaufman, Lindsey Mickens, Joshua Landis, Jillian Brunenkant, Kaelan Landis, and Gerrick Landis, and 13 great-grandchild­ren.

The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. April 26 followed by a service at 11 a.m. at the Chapel at the Masonic Village, Elizabetht­own.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons in her name can be sent to The Tree of Life, Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabetht­own, PA 17022.
