John Beidler, age 78, of Telford, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Grand View Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Burch) Beidler, with whom he shared over 54 years of marriage.

Born Sept. 15, 1938, in Telford, he was a son of the late John S. and Stella (Landis) Beidler.

John was a longtime member of Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek.

He was employed for more than 47 years at Landis Supermarke­t in Telford, where he worked as a meat supervisor.

He was a member of the Telford Lions Club and served as a past president. He served on the Telford Zoning Board and Recreation­al Board.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, camping and reading. His true passion was his family, and he cherished the times they spent together.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his daughters, Barbara A. Mandato and her husband, Gregory, Doreen L. Hillegas and her husband, Dwayne; grandchild­ren Bryana M. Mandato, Brandon L. and Adam J. Hillegas; sister Elaine L. Beidler, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Laverne L., Clyde L. and Gordon L. Beidler.

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Road, Telford, PA 18969, where a viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
