John W. Heckler of Lansdale
John W. Heckler, 78, of Lansdale, died Monday, May 22, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Louise (Toullis) Heckler.
Born April 28, 1939, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Bothers) Heckler.
Mr. Heckler was employed as the maintenance supervisor with the former AmChem Products, Ambler, for many years, retiring from Henkel in 1994. Upon retirement, he worked as a parts driver with Yocum Ford, Lansdale.
John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
His hobbies included snowmobiling and racing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Anne H. Levengood of Lansdale, and John W. Heckler Jr. (Leigh) of Hatfield; and four grandchildren, Michael, Grace, Brittany, and Derek.
Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. At a later date, burial will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
