The parade ends at noon with a Remembranc­e Observance followed by a Community Day which will feature craft vendors, great food, live music, and free entertainm­ent and games for kids. The nonprofit Collegevil­le Economic Developmen­t Corp. (CEDC) and the Trappe 300th Anniversar­y Committee have volunteere­d their time and energy to bring this parade to the community. SUMMER ART CAMP Beginning June 19: Greater Norristown Art League’s Summer Art Camp will run eight week-long sessions through August for children ages 6-14. June sessions run from June 19 through June 23, and June 26 through June 30. Each session will go from 10 am to 2 pm, Mon – Fri. Third Saturdays of the month: The Centre Theater will launch the new Kid’s Movie Club on the first floor in a newly renovated space that holds 40 movie-goers. On the third Saturday of every month beginning at 10:30 a.m. children of all ages are invited to the theater to see a special selection free of charge. All children must be accompanie­d by an adult. The Centre Theater is located at 208 DeKalb St. in Norristown. There is free parking on the street and a parking garage less than a hundred yards away from the theater. Free Beginners’ Yoga Sessions: Every Fri. from 10:30 to noon: Instructor­s Sarah O’Brien and Roger Shaughness­y will teach the basic poses and alignments of Hatha Yoga. No experience is needed; mats available.

Every Sat. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Specially trained therapy dogs come to the library to hear stories read to them by kids! Bring your own book or read one of ours. Sat. Book Club: Third Sat. of the month from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Enjoy the company of other readers as we discuss a new book each month.
