Eugene M. DiMarco of Hatfield

Eugene M. DiMarco, 83, of Hatfield, died Friday, June 2, 2017. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann (Brobst) DiMarco, who died April 12, 2001.

Born September 29, 1933 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Dominick and Angelina (Perry) DiMarco.

Mr. DiMarco was employed in quality assurance with Defense Logistics Agency, Philadelphia, for many years, retiring in the late 1980s. He was also a proud veteran of the US Air Force.

Gene was a talented carpenter and was a member of many local social clubs.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda Signore of Forksville, PA, and Denise Kratz (Douglas) of Hatfield; six grandchildren, Joshua (Lauren), Jennifer (Lenny), Aaron, Jesse, Chris (Sarah), and Emily; five great-grandchildren, Colby, Chloe, Gabriel, Blaze, and Oliver; and his twin brother, John DiMarco (Dee) of Philadelphia.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert DiMarco.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery, North Wales.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Mr. DiMarco’s memory to Caring Hospice Services, 400 Commerce Drive, Suite C, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
