C. Scott Elliott of West Chester

C. Scott Elliott (“EL”), 45, of West Chester, PA, died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at his home after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. #scottstrong

He was the husband of Hillary HeebnerElliott.

Born Jan. 11, 1972, in Lansdale, PA, he was the son of Nina Tutino Elliott of Souderton, PA, and of the late Wayne Elliott of Souderton.

Scott was a 1990 graduate of Germantown Academy. He attended The University of Maryland (College Park, Maryland) and West Chester University (West Chester, PA).

Scott was a student athlete who excelled as a member of the varsity swimming teams on both campuses.

Scott has spent the last 20 years coaching swimming at Greenwoods Swim Club (Southern Chester County Swim League), Golden Ram Aquatics (USS Swimming), and for the West Chester University Swimming team (PSAC) and WCU swim lesson program.

In addition to his wife and mother, Scott is survived by his children, Piper HeebnerElliott and Trevor HeebnerElliott; and his brother, Marc Elliott, and his wife, Susanne of Souderton. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 21, at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home Inc., 410 N. Church St., West Chester, PA, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by his Funeral Service at 6 p.m.

Interment will be held in private.
