William E. Marsden Jr., age 69, of Lansdale, formerly of Chalfont, died Sunday, July 30, 2017, at the Valley Stream Apartments.

Born in Philadelph­ia, he was the son of the late William Marsden Sr. and Josephine (nee. Delconte) Marsden.

He was a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School, Pierce Junior College and Delaware Valley College.

Mr. Marsden was the owner and operator of Vac and Sew in Montgomery­ville for more than 20 years, retiring in 2010.

He served his country honorably as a medic in Germany with the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1971 during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the VFW.

Surviving are his sisters, Mary Ann Ferraro (the late Thomas) of Lansdale and Cynthia Ann Koenig (Gary) of Carlisle, PA, many nieces and nephews, many greatniece­s and nephews, and one great-great nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. in church before Mass. Interment is in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to Alliance Cancer Center, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 106, Chalfont, PA. 18914.
