Dennis Everett Halstead of Upper Gwynedd

Dennis Everett Halstead of Upper Gwynedd passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017.

He was the loving husband of Amy C. (née Daly) Halstead for nearly 50 years and was preceded in death by his son Dennis Eric Halstead (Skip) in 1973. He was dearly loved by his children Jeffrey (Patricia), Scott (Laura) and Christina Streets (David) and his goddaughter Sandra (Diehl) Kennedy, and was a devoted Pop-Pop to his grandchildren, Kalin, Megan, Hannah, Elizabeth, Claire, Catherine, Cole and Avery.

He will be sadly missed by his many loving and caring in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Everett and Dorothy Halstead (nee Deck).

Denny was born and lived in Philadelphia until 1981. He served in the USAF from 1963-1967, where he was trained to be a medical technologist and worked in the health care field until he retired in 2004.

He was an avid baseball fan and coached various Little Leagues and St. Rose of Lima CYO baseball over a span of more than 20 years.

Family and friends are invited to share in Denny’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at St. Rose of Lima Church, 428 S. Main St., North Wales. The viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
