Theresa A. Sherman of Har- leysville.

Theresa A. Sherman, 89 of Harleysvil­le, formerly of Ambler and Sea Isle City, passed away on Sunday Aug. 27, 2017, in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington.

Born on July 13, 1928, the youngest of seven children, she was the daughter of the late Camillo and Maria Garcia (Castaldi) Monichetti and the loving wife of the late William J. Sherman Sr.

Theresa grew up in Sea Isle City, NJ, and graduated from Ocean City High School.

After marrying Bill, she moved to Ambler, where they raised their children and became active in the community. She was an amazing baker, known especially for her Italian Cream Cake and cookies.

She loved spending time with family and friends and was a parishoner of Corpus Christi Church.

Theresa was a loving mother to her children Anna Marie Hutchinson (Bob) of Lansdale, PA, and William J. Sherman Jr. (Susan) of Fort Washington, PA, who survive her.

Her brother, Camillo Monichetti of Arlington, WA, is her last surviving sibling. Her five grandchild­ren, 10 great-grandchild­ren and several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Relatives and friends will be received after 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, and are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
