St. Mary and St. Kyrillos Coptic Orthodox Church: The 10th annual Egyptian Festival is held 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Sunday and Sept. 16-17 on the grounds of the church and community center, 2500 Unionville Pike, Hatfield. St. Mary Catholic Church: The St. Mary Feast on Sunday includes a noon Mass, music, games, balloon animals by Chippy the Clown, a 50⁄50 raffle and fellowship until 6:30 p.m. There will be homemade Latin, Polish, Italian and American foods along with carnival games, including a Eurobungee jump, a rock wall and dunk tank. Church of the Holy Spirit: The Episcopal church at 2871 Barndt Road and Sumneytown Pike, Upper Salford, will return to the regular Sunday service schedule on Welcome Back Sunday Sept. 10. The Christian education program includes a new Musikgarte­n curriculum, “God’s Children Sing,” for 3- to 5-year-olds. Nursery and child care is provided throughout the morning. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church: Lutheran churches all over the world have been celebratin­g the 500th anniversar­y of the Protestant Reformatio­n this year. The Reformatio­n was begun by a monk, Martin Luther, when he nailed 95 Theses to the door of Wittenberg, Germany’s castle church on Oct. 31, 1517. This summer, Jennifer Bodolus, the North Wales church’s director of family faith, designed a church in a box for families to continue their faith journeys during the summer when they are away from church. Inside the box was a two dimensiona­l “Flat Martin.” Families and individual­s have been photograph­ing their Flat Martins all over the country and abroad. Country fair

Central Schwenkfel­der Church: An old-fashioned Country Fair, with activities for the whole family, will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 16 on the historic farm property adjacent to the church, Valley Forge Road, Worcester. Entertainm­ent will include Central Schwenkfel­der’s Midst of Glory, an antique/classic car show, hay rides, face painting and games for children.
