Margaret “Peg” W. Smith, 90, of Lansdale, passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, in Elm Terrace Gardens.

She was the beloved wife of the late Clayton R. Smith, who passed away in April.

Born in Philadelph­ia, she was a daughter of the late Richard J. and Anna Mae (Englert) Wolf.

Peg was a graduate of Olney High School and Drexel University.

In her early years, she enjoyed being a den mother for her sons Cub Scout Pack.

She was a very active member of Sanctuary United Methodist Church, where she could be found singing in the choir and attending ladies circle.

Peg also enjoyed her sorority of friends, gardening, the outdoors and playing piano. She especially cherished the time spent with her children, grandchild­ren, and great-grandchild­ren.

Surviving Peg are her sons, James Smith (Suzanne) and Ken Smith (Jennifer); her grandchild­ren, Michele Boyle (Mike), Alicia Hott (Mike), Elizabeth Johnson (Jon), Missy Smith, Michael Smith, Christi Smith; and her five great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Isaac Johnson; and her sister, Patricia Wolf.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family after 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in Sanctuary United Methodist Church, 1346 E. Prospect Ave., North Wales , PA 19454, and are invited to attend her funeral service at noon. Inurnment will be held privately.
