» Germantown Academy opened league play with a 10-5 win over Episcopal.

The Patirots jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter and would never trail in the game. EA rallied in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to make it a 6-4 game going into the final frame. GA’s offense came alive and scored the first four goals of the quarter to make it a 10-4 game before EA scored with 20 seconds left in the game. » Germantown Academy scored two goals in the final two minutes to beat Episcopal Academy, 17-15, Tuesday.

Girls Cross Country

Germantown Academy finished in the top nine places in Tuesday’s doubledual Inter-Ac Meet to dominate Notre Dame and the Baldwin school.

Issy Goldstein finished first in 19:21, Gianna Murgia second in 20:30 and Anna Hennessy third in 21:23.

The Patriots are now 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the InterAc.
