Henesey’s Senior Day hat trick leads LC past Hallahan

Kate Henesey had a hat trick on Senior Day to break the Lansdale Catholic girls soccer team’s single-season goals record for the third straight year as the Crusaders earned a 4-0 Philadelph­ia Catholic League win over Hallahan Thursday.

Henesey scored all three of her goals in the first half to push her season total to 39.

Taylor Connelly added a goal and an assist for LC (14-3-1, 10-0-1 PCL), which next plays 3 p.m. Thursday when it hosts a Catholic League quarterfin­al. PW 2, HATBORO-HORSHAM

Bella Carlucci had two goals for Villa Maria.

UPPER DUBLIN 5, SPRINGFIEL­D (M) 1 » Sam Joseph scored a hat trick as visiting Upper Dublin topped Springfiel­d-Montco Thursday and stayed tied atop the SOL American with Hatboro-Horsham.

Jake Welsh had the goal for the Springfiel­d (6-6-3, 3-6-3 conference). UD (103-1, 9-2-1) hosts Hatboro Horsham Monday.

(OT) » Mikayla Barrow gave North Penn a 3-2 lead with 1:31 left in the second half, but Central Bucks South’s Ally Fitz sent Thursday’s game to overtime, scoring on a penalty corner with no time left and the teams settled for a SOL Continenta­l tie.

Madison Stotler and Bri O’Donnell also scored for the Knights (9-5-1, 8-2-1 conference) while Anissa Gardizy made 15 saves.

Jillian Heilig stopped 11 shots for the Titans (9-5-1, 6-4-1).

Bridget McTamney finished with 35 assists and 12 digs for the Colonials.

For Souderton (6-12, 6-0 conference), Haley Novak had 18 digs and four kills, Amelia Hanson finished with 16 digs, four kills and two aces and Tori Reiner put down 13 kills.
