Week of October 22 FINANCIAL AID SEMINAR

Wednesday, Oct. 25: At 6:30 p.m., the Lower Providence Community Library will host a Financial Aid Seminar for college–bound high school students and their families, presented by Dr. Kevin Bukatman. During this informativ­e session, parents and students will learn: -How to determine your family’s Expected Family Contributi­on -The difference between need-based and merit-based financial aid -Strategies to maximize and enhance your financial aid package -What colleges and universiti­es value on their applicatio­ns -Where to find outside scholarshi­p programs -The true cost of attendance at local and national colleges and universiti­es. Dr. Kevin L. Bukatman, Founder and President of College Planning Service America has been a consultant for families of college bound students since 2006. He obtained his master’s degree and doctorate from Boston College. For 18 years, he was an educator and administra­tor for several private schools and public school districts in Boston and New York. FABULOUS GREASEBAND

Saturday, Oct. 28: The Fabulous Greaseband will bring their rock ‘n’ roll party to Pottstown this fall for the Sixth Annual Meals on Wheels Fundraisin­g Event at SunnyBrook Ballroom, 50 Sunnybrook Road, Pottstown. Doors open at 7 p.m. Show begins at 8 p.m. Show tickets are $25 (general admission). An optional, allinclusi­ve buffet dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The SunnyBrook All-American Buffet features mesclun greens, penne primavera, chicken francaise, sliced shoulder filet with demi-glace, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean almondine, bread, beverage, and assorted mini desserts. MARKET DAY CRAFT AND PIE SALE
