MONTCO BARKS BACK AGAINST CANCER

Saturday, Nov. 4: The American Cancer Society invites dogs and their human families to an exciting new event, Montgomery County Barks Back Against Cancer, in dog-friendly Heuser Park. Spending a fall day with your pup in a beautiful park is one of life’s simple pleasures, and at Barks Back, the experience is enhanced with some extras: a onemile walk, a doggy costume contest and other games, and a goody bag for each participating pooch. There will also be food trucks for humans, as well as vendor tables and dog-themed raffle packages. The event’s $25-per-dog registration fee benefits the American Cancer Society. Our doggy mile stroll will begin at 11:30 a.m. Easily accessible and only a couple miles from the King of Prussia Mall, Heuser Park (694 W. Beidler Road) has a playground in addition to a walking path, making it a great place for a family outing. To register for the event, visit the website at www.main.acsevents.org/ mcbb.
