Manna Launches Hope for the Holidays

-

LANSDALE » Manna on Main Street has launched their 3rd Annual Hope for the Holidays Gift Card Program. The 2017 Hope for the Holidays program is designed with the idea of giving parents unable to afford gifts for their children the dignity and trust of purchasing gifts they feel most appropriate for them.

Manna will distribute gift cards to parents, $75 for each child participating in the program. Manna is seeking donors to purchase gift cards in $25 denominations. Donors may contribute as many gift cards as they wish. The last day Manna is receiving gift card donations is November 30th.

Donors can mail the cards or drop them off at Manna on Main Street, Attn: Hope for the Holidays, 606 East Main Street, Suite 1001, Lansdale, PA 19446.

Manna is accepting Visa or Walmart gift cards only because they offer the most shopping options for the families they serve. However, donors can also donate the following non-gift card Items:

• Books for children & teens (NO coloring books and crayons please)

• Diapers & wipes (larger diaper sizes – 4, 5, 6 are greatly needed, as well as pull-ups) • Twin-size bed sheets Gifts should be left unwrapped, but donors can also donate a roll of wrapping paper and tape.

Manna on Main Street was founded in 1981 by volunteers dedicated to feeding and caring for individuals in need in the North Penn region and greater Montgomery County. From its humble roots, Manna expanded to respond to food insecurity needs, moving three times to larger facilities with room for innovation and more dignified programming.
