Arthur Edmund Chandler of Collegeville; Paul Freed of Chalfont; Dorothy (Nace) Nice of Salford Township; Joan Albert Zeller of Lansdale.

Arthur Edmund Chandler, age 60, of Collegeville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of Mary (Baldukas) Chandler, with whom he shared more than 39 years of marriage.

Born Dec. 5, 1956, in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Arthur Lewis and Theresa Marie (Martin) Chandler.

Arthur received his Bachelor Degree from Marquette University and a Masters Degree from LaSalle University.

He spent all of his professional career in the insurance industry, most recently at Harleysville Insurance Company.

Arthur was a proud member of the Board of Trustees for LaSalle College High School. He enjoyed spending his time with his family in Ocean City, NJ, and Jacksonville, FL.

Art was a survivor of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, which ultimately led to his diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma.

In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by his children Arthur William Chandler and his wife Emily, Lindsay Landi and her husband Christopher, Mark Chandler; Granddaughter Avery Chandler.

A viewing for Arthur will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, and again from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Arthur’s name may be made to either the Multiple Myeloma Association, 383 Main Ave., Fifth Floor, Norwalk, Ct 06851; or LaSalle College High School, 8605 Cheltenham Avenue, Wyndmoor, PA 19038.
