Gobble Wobble: Online registration is open through Nov. 19 for the Abington YMCA Gobble Wobble 5K set for 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23. You can also register in person at the Abington Y through Wednesday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. On race day, you can register from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Y at 1073 Old York Road, Abington. A 2 Mile Walk is also planned. Families with strollers are welcome. A Children’s Fun run takes place at 8:45 a.m. and is $5; the 5K is at 9 a.m. and registration is $25 until Nov. 18, $30 after. Tell a friend: The 5th Annual Share JOY 5K Run/1-Mile Fun Walk steps off at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25. Runners and walkers can make a difference. Proceeds benefit local fire companies, the building of fresh water wells in Papua New Guinea, and this year, hurricane relief in Houston, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Race day registration is $25.
