New positions named: The Towamencin Township Board of Supervisors swore in new member Richard Marino on Tuesday night, and appointed each supervisor to the following positions: President: Chuck Wilson Vice President: Laura Smith Secretary: Jim Sinz Treasurer: Dan Littley Assistant Secretary and Assistant Treasurer: Richard Marino All four incumbent supervisors retain the same positions in 2018 they had previously held in 2017, according to Township Manager Rob Ford. Marino will now serve a six-year term as township supervisor, and resident Douglas Sullivan was also sworn in for a six-year term as a township auditor. All other appointed positions, including township manager, solicitor, engineer, and zoning officer will remain the same in 2018 as in 2017, according to the manager. Dates set: Towamencin’s board also approved a schedule of 2018 meetings, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. on the following dates. All meetings will be held at the township administration building, 1090 Troxel Road, unless otherwise noted. Work sessions, second Wednesday of each month: Jan. 10, Feb. 14, March 7, April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, Aug. 8, Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Dec. 12.
