Helen Cleere Coles Pilecki of Lansdale
Helen Cleere Coles Pilecki, a resident of Brittany Pointe Estates, Lansdale, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 with her husband by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Alexander B. “Bud” Pilecki and the late John Coles.
Born in the Swamp Poodle section of Philadelphia in 1933, she was a daughter of the late Michael & Margaret (Leahy) Cleere.
Helen was a 1952 graduate of John W. Hallahan High School and was employed with Honeywell Inc. in Fort Washington for many years, retiring in 1992.
She was also an avid Irish step-dancer, and was a teacher of the dance.
Helen will be remembered for her tremendous sense of humor and will be missed.
Surviving, in addition to her husband Bud, are three children, Judy, Michael, and Jack; her sister, Peggy; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Thursday, January 11, after 9:00 a.m. in St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, and are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Helen may be made to the Amigos De Jesus Orphanage, 126 Woodland Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355.
