David A. Krum of Souderton
David A. Krum, 70, of Souderton, passed away Thursday, January 11th at his home. He was the beloved husband of 45 years of Maureen (Reed) Krum.
Born October 25, 1947 in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Robert and Esther (Barnes) Krum Sr. of Hatfield.
He was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church in Hatfield where he served on the board for years. Dave was heavily involved in the Laymen Playmen in Hatfield where he served in various roles, both onstage and off, providing entertainment in each.
Dave will be remembered not only for his passion to serve, but for his enormously kind heart, his mischievous nature, his extremely strong work ethic, and his unwavering sense of humor. He never met a stranger and loved his family and friends with all he had.
Surviving with his wife are daughters, Jennifer Zetina, husband Luis of Campeche, Mexico, and Adrienne Krum of Tampa, FL; son, Ian Krum, wife Jennifer Oberlander of Quakertown; grandchildren, Alex, Sebastian, Sofia, Sheyenne, Samantha, Ariana, Serenity, and Brooklynne; brothers, Harold “Buddy” Krum, wife Lynn, and Robert Krum Jr., wife Terry. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy Stock.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 20th at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. Calling from 9:00-10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
