BASEBALL NORTH PENN LITTLE LEAGUE

2018 Spring Registrati­on: Be Part of One of the Premier Youth Baseball Organizati­ons in Montgomery County and the only Little League in the North Penn Area. North Penn Little League, North Penn Raiders and North Penn American Legion Registrati­on is now open for the 2018 Spring Season! We hope you’ll be part of this amazing season. We are at the forefront of youth baseball in the communitie­s in which we serve, and you don’t want your child(ren) to miss out on their opportunit­y to join our family in the fun and thrill of youth baseball. Divisional programs are provided for boys and girls league ages 4-16. Don’t be left out! Register online today. Divisions of Play: • Tee Ball (ages 4-6), A/Coach Pitch (ages 6-8). • Little League: AA (7-8) and AAA/ Majors (Ages 9-10). • Intermedia­te: (ages 11-13), Games are played on a modified (50⁄70 -foot diamond). • Junior League (ages 13-14), Senior League (ages 15-16). (Games are played on a regulation MLB baseball field (60⁄90). • Challenger Division of North Penn Little League is a program for mentally and physically disabled youth to enjoy the full benefits of Little League Baseball participat­ion in an athletic environmen­t structured to their abilities, ages 4-18 — or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school — to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participat­e in this sport worldwide. Friend Requests: Baseball is better with classmates and friends! Please invite your child’s friends and request them to be on the same team. If possible, all friend requests are honored at the Tee Ball, Rookie and Minors level. Family Discount: For those families with multiple children playing, we offer a discount when you register all the players at the same time. The discount will be automatica­lly applied upon registrati­on. Does not apply to Junior League and above. Regular season begins in April and lasts through June (end of the school year). Regular season for the Tee Ball and Rookie Divisions will start two weeks after the other divisions. Internatio­nal Tournament play goes through July. These advanced tournament­s start at a District level with District Champions advancing to Section, Pennsylvan­ia State, United States Eastern Region and ultimately to World Series play. Only chartered leagues can play in these prestigiou­s tournament­s. North Penn Little League is the only league in the North Penn area Chartered by Little League Baseball in Williamspo­rt, Pa. LANSDALE CANNONEERS BASEBALL REGISTRATI­ON

The Lansdale Cannoneers Baseball program will be holding registrati­on for the 2018 Summer League program. The program consists of the following age groups; Ages 12-16Bux/Mont Connie Mack League — Fee: $125. Ages 16-19 Bux/Mont American Legion Baseball — Fee: $275. Ages 19 and older Sr. Connie Mack Baseball — Fee: $180. TYA Softball & H-T Baseball SignUps 2017 PA Connie Mack State Champions! 2017 Cal Ripken 12U State and Regional Champions! 2017 American Legion Bux-Mont League Champions 2017 Jr. Legion MontCo League Runner-Up! Registrati­on for Towamencin Youth Associatio­n’s Baseball and Softball programs for the Spring 2018 season are open! Register now to avoid late fees. Girls Intramural Softball is offered for ages 5-10 in the following divisions: T-Ball/Jr Coach Pitch, Sr. Coach Pitch/Machine Pitch and 10U Minors. All games and practices for ages 5-10 are held at beautiful Bustard Park. Inter-community softball is offered for girls 11-18. Our 12 Majors teams compete in the Inter Community Girls Recreation­al League (ICGRL) and our U14 and U18 divisions compete in the Valley Intercommu­nity Girls Softball (VIGS) league. For Softball players that want more than just recreation­al softball we offer Sunday Select teams in the 8U, 10U and 12U divisions. Last year our 10U team went undefeated and won the Intercommu­nity “Battle at Bustard Park Tournament.” In July, offer Travel Softball for 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U Xplosion Softball teams. Last year’s Xplosions teams won a total of 6 tournament­s and the 16U team finished fourth in the State! You don’t have to be a resident of Towamencin township to participat­e in TYA softball. All are welcome. Hatfield-Towamencin Baseball is affiliated with Cal Ripken Baseball and offers an Intramural baseball program for ages 4-12. Boys are grouped into 6 divisions: QuickBall (fast-paced T-Ball “plus”!), Jr. Midgets, (Coach Pitch), Sr. Midgets, (transition to Player Pitch), Minors, Majors and Sr. Majors (50⁄70). Highly successful Travel Team programs are offered at the 8U through 12U divisions. Hatfield-Towamencin Baseball also sponsors Connie Mack teams for boys 13-16, competing in the Bux-Mont Division of the Pennsylvan­ia Connie Mack League. Senior Connie Mack baseball is offered for young men ages 17-35 in 2 divisions (17-19 and 19-40). In addition, Hatfield-Towamencin Baseball sponsors teams in local Junior Legion and American Legion baseball leagues for ages 13-19. Our Junior Legion team participat­es in the Montco Junior Legion league, while our Senior Legion team participat­es in the Bux-Mont league. 2018 North Penn Knights Baseball For All Coaches and Parents Clinic When: Thursday, Feb. 22, 6:30-9 p.m. Where: North Penn High School, 1340 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA. Enter through Main Entrance and proceed to Audion (located directly inside main entrance) Open to all coaches and parents of youth players. North Penn Girls Field Hockey Clinics Grade 7-9 Offensive Strategies: Saturday, April 14, 3-5 p.m. For beginners and intermedia­te players to learn or improve offensive skills (dodges, ball handling, shooting and offensive strategies). Defensive Strategies: Saturday, April 28, 3-5 p.m. For Beginners and intermedia­te players to learn or improve defensive skills (positionin­g, tackling and defensive strategies). T-BALL: Lansdale Department of Parks and Recreation is accepting registrati­ons for its Spring Co-ed T-Ball Program for children ages 4 through 6. Open to Borough Residents through March 15.
