Anna M. Blanch of Lansdale.

Anna M. Blanch, 72, of Lansdale, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Robert M. Blanch.

Born in Philadelph­ia in 1945, she was a daughter of the late James E. & Anna M. (Barry) Lane.

Anna graduated from St. Hubert’s Catholic High School for Girls in 1963 and was proud to have held a chair in the orchestra there. She had a life-long love of music. As an avid traveler, she enjoyed her many trips.

She is remembered as a wonderful homemaker for her family, a devoted grandmom, and will be dearly missed.

Surviving Anna are her children, Robert Blanch (Laura), of Tacoma, WA; Mary Anne Jones (Marshal), of Silver Spring, MD; James Blanch (Wendy), of Lansdale; Chris Blanch (Deanna), of Hingham, MA; Jennifer Perry (Dennis), of Chatham, NJ; Richard Blanch (Vivianna), of Hopewell Junction, NY; her grandchild­ren, Heather, Alex, Katie, Robbie, Gavin, Lauren, Aidan, Jake, Elle, Martin, Rhys, Lucas, Dylan, Holden, & Clark; her brother, Edward Lane; and her sister-in-law, Alice Lane.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Monday, March 5 after 9 a.m. in Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, and are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelph­ia.

In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons in memory of Anna may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
