St. Peter’s Lutheran Church: A Climate Talk with Quaker author Eileen Flanagan starts at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the church parlor, 211 S. Main St. North Wales. A graduate of Duke and Yale universiti­es, Flanagan seeks to help people to make their activism more effective through her online courses. Fighting breast cancer

Congregati­on Beth Or: A breast cancer prevention program with physician Dr. Rachel Brem is offered at 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Brem has appeared on “Dr. Oz” and the “Today” Show, and will speak about breast cancer prevention and why mammograms are not enough.
