Thomas L. Gardlik of North Wales; Mary Virgilio.

Thomas L. Gardlik - Age 86, of North Wales, PA, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Supplee Gardlik on November 28, 2002.

Surviving are his loving daughters Susan and Carol Gardlik of Norristown, David Gardlik of North Wales, Cynthia Smith (Richard) of North Wales, Gerald Gardlik of Vineland, NJ and four grand-children, Rosemarie Gustafson (Andrew) of Harleysville, Sarah Smith of North Wales, Emily Smith of North Wales and Paul Smith of Lansdale. Also surviving are his sisters Katherine Gardlik of Aliquippa, Pa, Frances Tucker of Moon Township and his brother Robert Gardlik of Monaca PA.

Thomas was also preceded in death by his brothers, George and Edward Gardlik; his sisters, Sister Julia Gardlik, a Sister of Our Lady of Charity, Cecilia Paczak and Margaret Gardlik; sisters-in-law, Irene Gardlik and Edith Gardlik; and brothers-inlaw, Michael Tucker and William Paczak.

Born in Aliquippa, PA, he was the son of the late John Gardlik and Julia (Merkovsky) Gardlik. Mr. Gardlik worked as a Machinist at McCarter Corp. in Norristown, retiring in 1994. He was a veteran of the Korean War for the US Army.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 424 S. Main St, North Wales, PA 19454, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. in Church, before Mass. Interment will be in the St. Stanislaus cemetery in Lansdale, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Scoliosis Foundation at www.scoliosis.org in Tom’s name.
