Robert K. White Sr. of North Wales

Robert K. White Sr., 88, of North Wales, was called home by his Lord Jesus Christ March 19, 2018. He was the loving husband of 68 years to Betty J. (Wenhold) White.

Born November 13, 1929, in Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late Bird C. and Elizabeth (Veatch) White.

Mr. White began working for the Evening Bulletin and retiring as circulation manager for Montgomery Publishing.

Bob was a very active member of North Wales Baptist Church where, among other things, he served as a trustee for many years and played in their church praise band. He played the drums with a Christian band and also played at various venues and nursing homes. Most of all, Bob will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, especially his grandchildren.

Along with his wife, he is survived by one son, Robert K. White Jr. (Nancy), Franconia; grandchildren, Rebecca Sullivan (Kevin), Horsham, Matthew Maupin, and Laura Maupin (Desmond), both of Fairfax, VA, and his great-grandchildren, Colette, Jacob and Luke.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Constance Maupin, and siblings, NJ., Ben and Mason White.

The family will receive friends starting 9:30 a.m. March 31, 2018, at North Wales Baptist Church, 136 Shearer St, North Wales, PA 19454, with the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
