Kathryn Leidy, 92, of North Wales

Kathryn “Kay” Leidy, 92, of North Wales, died Sunday, April 1, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Creighton Leidy, her husband of 57 years, who died October 23, 2010.

Born August 23, 1925 in Lower Salford Township, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth (McIlhenny) and Harry Wyatt, Sr.

Kay graduated from Lansdale High School with the Class of 1943 and was employed as a secretary for many years. An avid golfer, Kay was a charter member of Indian Valley Country Club, Telford, where she was the Women’s Club Champion in 1966.

Survivors include her siblings, James J. Wyatt of Colmar, and Dorothy M. Rhoads of North Wales; her niece, Sallie Lott (Donald) of Bluffton, SC; three nephews, W. Thomas Rhoads (Tara) of Worcester, J. David Rhoads (Peggy) also of Worcester, and James Wyatt, Jr. (Bonnie) of Buckingham; seven great-nieces and nephews; and 11 greatgreat-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Wyatt Jr.; and two sisters, Betty Kletzing and Loretta Wolfgang.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 W. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Leidy’s Cemetery, Souderton. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
