Donald J. Arsenault, formerly of Lansdale; James P. Croasdale of Jim Thorpe.

Donald Jacques Arsenault, of Red Rock Arizona, formerly of Lansdale, PA, was born June 9th, 1934 in Rumford, Maine, sadly passed away December 8th, 2017.

Don served his country in the Air Force from 195357 and deeply loved his country. He was emotional during patriotic songs and would strongly encourage younger men to remove their hats.

Don and Lynne, lovingly called Mae and Pae, moved to Arizona in 2010 to be closer to their granddaughters, Jennifer and Abbey. He enjoyed spending free time taking them places and trying different foods at multiple restaurants, usually spoiling them in the process. Don loved retirement and his motto became, “I can do or not do, anything I damn well please.”

Lynne, his wife of 37 years, and Don learned a lot about cactus’ and Mexican pottery, driving to many local shops. He would joke and tell people he was out buying “POT” and it always made people laugh.

A camera was a staple around Don’s neck during his retirement and he took thousands of photos of his grandchildren and his cats. One of his cats, KrackerJack who is 18 yrs old, followed him everywhere and would sit in his lap for hours.

Don’s loving family includes his wife, Lynne of Red Rock, Arizona; Sons, Jeffrey A. and Christopher A. of Philadephia.; Daughter, Darlene Garner of Tucson, Arizona.; Sons, Scott Dinsmore of Telford and Michael A. of Bethlehem, PA. Also many grandchildren who adored him. Don was predeceased by son, Shawn Dinsmore in 2014.

A remembrance gathering and brunch will be held from 3:30 to 6:30pm on June 9th, which would have been Don’s 84th birthday, at Zoto’s Restaurant in Line Lexington, PA. Please RSVP with a family member if planning on attending.
