Anna Gerhart of Hatfield; Eleanor Greiser of Green Lane and Souderton; Mary A. Leach, formerly of Lansdale; Mildred T. Winder of North Wales.

Anna Gerhart, 91, of Hatfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late David E. Gerhart, who died in 1988.

Anna was born in Philadelph­ia, the daughter of the late Peter & Mary (Sourvilaus) Macinskas.

In 1936, her parents moved to a farm in Upper Salford Township, where she attended a one room schoolhous­e and Souderton High School.

During World War II, she worked at S.K.F. Industries and Onor Craft.

Following his service, she and her husband, David, traveled extensivel­y throughout the United States and Europe. Anna especially enjoyed a trip to Juneau, AK, where they were able to take a trip via helicopter to walk on a glacier. Through her travels, she realized how big and beautiful the world is, and always thanked her husband for showing her the world.

Anna had a bucket list of many places yet to see, but her health would not allow it.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Diane Welbourn (Michael), of Hatfield; her step-son, Wayne Gerhart (Beebe), of Quakertown; 5 grandchild­ren; 2 step-grandchild­ren; 3 great grandchild­ren; and 4 step-great grandchild­ren. She was preceded in death by her son, David Gerhart, Jr.; her brother, Peter Macinskas, Jr.; and her sister, Ellen Wile.

At her family’s request, all funeral services will be held privately.

Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
