Mildred T. Winder, 92, of North Wales, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 surrounded by her family in the Community at Rockhill.

She was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late Jack B. Winder, who died in 2003.

Born in Philadelph­ia in 1926, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. & Anna (Webber) Taylor.

Mildred was employed as a bookkeeper with R.E. P. Industries, Lansdale, for many years and was a member of Gwynedd Square Presbyteri­an Church for over 50 years.

Outside of work, she enjoyed her many trips to the casino, especially playing the slot machines. She also enjoyed cooking and engaging in many retail therapy sessions. She is remembered for the countless hours devoted to her family, as well as being “second mom” to many others, and will be missed.

Surviving Mildred are her children, Diane W. Clark (John), of Hatfield; Kathleen A. Yoder (Douglas), also of Hatfield; J. David Winder (Kathryn), of Upper Gwynedd); Steven P. Winder, of Orlando, FL; Laurie J. Gerstemeie­r (Karl), of Waxhaw, NC; 10 grandchild­ren; and 18 great grandchild­ren. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and 2 grandsons, Brian and Ryan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, June 29, 2018 after 10:00 a.m. in Gwynedd Square Presbyteri­an Church, 837 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, and are invited to attend her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectvi­lle.

Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
