William I. Pastor, 76, of Hatfield.

William I. Pastor, 76, of Hatfield, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan C. (Somerday) Pastor.

Born December 29, 1941 in Philadelph­ia, he was a son of the late Alvin and Ethel (Wolfson) Pastor.

William was known to everyone as a comedian with a generous personalit­y, and could make anyone laugh. Those who met him felt privileged to get to know him. William loved watching sports, especially basketball, boxing, and football. He also loved to travel with his late wife, Joan.

William took great pride in the education he completed later in life. He worked as a substitute teacher for many of the schools in the area. William also spent much of his time working as a senior care giver for Senior Helpers in Lansdale.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer McCarthy of Hatfield and Andrea David of Delaware; a grandson, Jonathan David; two brothers, David Pastor (Rose) of New Jersey and Joseph Pastor (Selma) of New Jersey; a sister, Sharon Goodman of Philadelph­ia; and two nephews Aaron Pastor (Jennifer) and Nicholas Pastor (Diana).

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, July 5 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale where his Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by military funeral honors rendered by the United States Army.
