Scott J. Hogan of Hatfield.

Scott J. Hogan, 60, of Hatfield, died Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvan­ia, Philadelph­ia.

Born in Norristown, he was a son of the late Stephen Hogan and Edythe (Lenhart) Mack.

He owned and operated Scott J. Hogan Upholstery for over 30 years and most recently worked for Shrawder Restoratio­ns, Phoenixvil­le. Scott was a talented artist and a creative spirit.

He loved spending time in the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. He enjoyed working with his hands and was an avid Volkswagen enthusiast. He was known around the neighborho­od for his orange VW Beetle.

Surviving is his son, Devin S. Hogan of Philadelph­ia; siblings, Sharon Hogan (Bill Wilson) of Lansdale, Stephen Hogan (Patty) of Upper Salford, Sean Hogan (Theresa) of Lansdale, and Sandra Welsh (Michael) of North Wales; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, July 13th at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. A calling will precede the service from 5:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
