Roberta L. Metz of Kulpsville, Kenneth E. Degen of Telford.

Roberta L. “Bobbie” Metz, 75, of Kulpsville, died July 13, 2018, at The Community at Rockhill. Born June 12, 1943 in Lansdale, she was the daughter of the late Robert D.and Dorothy (Stevens) Metz. Miss Metz was employed at Teleflex, Inc., which later became Triumph Controls, Inc. of North Wales. She retired as a general accounting manager in 2012. As a devoted church member of Christ Lutheran Church of Kulpsville, Bobbie sang in the church choir since the age of seven. She was also a member of the Altar Guild and made quilts as a member of the “Knotters.” For many years, she was a member of the United Schwenkfelder choir where she enjoyed singing in the Annual Christmas Concert. Bobbie was an avid traveler, who loved to garden, bird watch and be outside in nature. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-inlaw, John R. Worrell. Survivors include her sisters, Ruth Ann Worrell of Newtown, Nancy C. Hillegas (Donald) of Perkasie; brother, Richard A. Metz (Marilyn) of Quakertown; two nieces; four nephews; four great-nieces; a great-great niece and God child, Susan Supper of Chalfont. Relatives and friends will be received starting 10 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2211 Mainland Rd., Harleysville, PA 19438, with a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
