Evolve IP buys Midwest company
Purchase is 14th in 12 years
WAYNE » Cloud services company Evolve IP announced last week it has acquired the assets of Advanced Integrated Technologies Inc. (AiTech), a cloud communications provider based in Minneapolis, Minn.
The strategic purchase is the second one this year for Evolve IP, and the 14th since the company was founded in 2006 and is part of the company’s ongoing market development strategy.
Geographic expansion within the U.S., global expansion and expansion of the company’s customer and partner base is a driving force behind this latest acquisition, according to a statement from the company.
The acquisition provides Evolve IP with a base of clients in the Midwestern United States, along with the ability to provide those customers with cloud computing, contact center and identity and access management services.
“We are thrilled to welcome AiTech and their clients to the Evolve IP family,” said Guy Fardone, Chief Executive Officer and Founding Partner of Evolve IP. “The talented team in Minnesota will play a significant role in our successful expansion in the Midwest region of the United States; both in terms of sales, as well as carrying on their tradition of client support excellence. Our associates around the world are looking forward to their contributions.”
Founded in 1993, AiTech has, for the last 10 years, provided clients with communications, IP phone systems and data solutions leveraging Broadsoft’s [Cisco’s] blue-chip Unified communications as a service (UCaaS). The company has about 500 clients and 10,000 users in North America.
With the acquisition, AiTech clients will gain immediate access to Evolve IP’s proprietary intellectual property including OSSmosis, a cloud management portal, and Clearlogin, an identity and access management au-
thentication service.
“We are incredibly happy to be joining Evolve IP and for the opportunities it provides our associates, clients and partners,” said Greg Lohrenz, CEO and Founder of AiTech. “Evolve IP’s OneCloud platform, with contact center, cloud computing, and identity and access management solutions, fits perfectly with our clients’ push to the cloud and with our partners’ desire to provide even more services to their base of customers. We’re looking forward to driving tremendous growth in the Midwest with Evolve IP.”
Evolve IP — with 400 employees — provides cloud solutions to more than 1,900 enterprises and more than 420,000 users in virtually every industry including: healthcare, finance, hospitality, automotive, insurance, veterinary, legal, technology, retail, construction verticals and to some of the world’s most recognizable brands.
“The Cloud is no longer about buying individual services. It’s now about having a strategy for multiple services and making them work together to provide greater IT efficiency,” according to a statement from the company. For more information about Evolve IP visit www.evolveip.net.
