After the game got suspended Friday night, the Trooper Tribe scored six runs in two innings to win game four 6-5 in the Perkiomen Valley Twilight quarterfinal series and force a decisive game five on Tuesday against Ambler.

The game on Monday night started in the bottom of the fourth where the Tribe scored four runs on two home runs to make the score 5-4 after four innings.

Brian Hartsell put the Tribe on the scoreboard with a two-run home run to make the score 5-2 with one out.

After Ryan Donahue was hit by a pitch two pitches later, Scott Young crushed the second two run home run in the inning to make the score 5-4.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Satchel Sciarretta hit a single to drive in Will Brownlowe from second base to tie the game at 5-5.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Brownlowe delivered the biggest run of the game with a one-out single to left field to give the Tribe the lead 6-5.

The Brewers were trying to score in the top of the seventh inning by getting runners on first and second base with one out, but Young was sent to the mound for relief duties and sit down the final two batters to secure seriestying victory.

Trooper manager PJ Regan was thrilled for the Tribe to get the comeback series-tying victory.

“We have been swinging the bats so hot at the end of the season,” said Regan. “I think just the start of a new week helped us refocus from Friday and get back into it today and the game getting rained out on Friday was really a blessing for us.”

Brownlowe was thrilled with his big moment in the sixth in-

ning that gave the Tribe the win.

“It was great,” said Brownlowe. “We’ve been fighting all year and I pretty much struggled in the summer for being tired for playing every game, so I just love those big moments like what we had today.”

Ambler head coach Pete Moore was shocked with the result but grateful for there being one more game in the series.

“On Friday our offense was really clicking,” said Moore. “Today they got the big home runs that pumped them up and then they get another run from a ball off the fence and it went from there.”

“Good news is that Andy and I are fresh to pitch tomorrow,” added Moore. “We’ll come up with a decision on who’s going to throw tomorrow and the team is going to be ready to compete.”

The Amblers Brewers and Trooper Tribe will now have a decisive game five tomorrow at the Temple Ambler Campus at 5:45 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Perkiomen Valley Twilight semifinals.
