Marilyn Catherine Gallagher of Schwenksville.
Ma r i ly n C at her i ne (Knieriem) Gallagher, 81, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday July 28th at home.
Born in Quakertown, PA, she had resided in Schwenksville for 17 years.
Marilyn retired from Merck and Company in 2001 and previously worked for Hunter Springs and Ametek. She also owned her own furniture business, Gallagher’s Antiques, for over 20 years in Skippack, PA.
Marilyn was an avid bowler and pool player. She also was an animal lover and supported many rescue groups over the years including rescuing her beloved cat – Spice.
Daughter of the late Harold David Theodore Knieriem Sr. and Catherine Veronica Lapinski, sister of the late Warren Knieriem, she is survived by her sister and brotherin-law, Lorraine Knieriem Shaak and Ralph E. (Jack) Shaak Jr. of Perkasie, PA, a brother and sister-in-law, Harold Knieriem Jr. and Alice Knieriem of Burns, Oregon, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be held Friday August 10th 10:00 a.m. at Tohickon Union Cemetery, 1071 Old Bethlehem Pike, Perkasie, PA 18944 with the Rev. Hamilton officiating.
